E is for their eyes

I've found a great way to combind the alphabet, my kids and phots that I love!
Come check out Alphabitty Moments over at MamaBear's blog

This week is E
E is for thoes EYES I just love to gaze into:

"Theirs Eyes"

I am blessed to gaze at the
most beautiful ten eyes

Five sets that gaze with
endless love and curiosity

I know each one intricately,
their colors, lines and corners

These ten little windows
adorned with gorgeous lashes

Each one is a window
into my child's soul

Each beautiful child
so individual and unique

Yet as I gaze at each pair of eyes
I know immediately who is who

As their mother I also know
the emotion untold that each one holds

A smile, a tear,
giggles or fears

A love so unique is motherhood
a long and winding road

I could sing of high joys and
and wince at our lows

And I know each of these are told
in their eyes that I behold

Wordless Wednesday

Four generations of mothers and daughters:
I'm in the front with my two daughters, my mom is sitting all the way to the left and her mom (my grandma) is all the way to the right. In between them are my two sisters and their daughters. Fun times when we are all together!

Wordless Wednesday - Whats a Sundog?

I'd like to go on record as complaining about -4 degrees in the middle of March. Isn't it almost spring? Who ever heard of a -23 degrees windchill in the middle of March???? Well, if you live in MN today you've heard plenty about it. As I pulled out of my driveway this morning I saw this gorgeous sundog in the sky. And I thought what a great Wordless Wednesday post, so I ran back in and grabbed my camera.

These first two are literally from the drivers seat in my truck in my own driveway:

And this one was taken less than a mile down the road:

Addicted to doing her hair!

After mothering three boys it can really be a ton of fun to use pretty pink bows and barrettes and make piggy tails again! Another blogging mom was posting about her addiction to doing her daughter's hair and I could totally relate and decided to share just a few pictures from the last two weeks. I really do love the piggy tails!
